A recent spiritual growth retreat with leaders and pre-leaders from El Limonal had one theme: a life devoted to Jesus.
Anielka Sánchez was one of those students on this retreat dedicated to creating habits of spending time with Jesus and knowing him more deeply. The neat thing is, 17-year-old Anielka is one of our THRIVE students who has grown even deeper in her relationship with the Lord because of her time in the Sacred Forest. Anielka is now in the process of becoming a SuNica leader because her efforts and courage have shown that she is capable and ready to lead. And, it was her time in the Sacred Forest that not only helped her move forward from hard situations in her past, but encouraged her to keep running the race that is discipleship.
