As you may already know, our mission at SuNica is to make disciples of Jesus in Nicaragua through clean water, education, and mentorship. Well, it’s no coincidence that clean water is mentioned first. Because we believe that meeting physical needs is an essential part of the Christian Mission, as we see in Jesus’s life. It is this combination – meeting both physical and spiritual needs – that leads to the fulfillment of our mission
It’s more than a well.
Through a SuNica water project, we pipe clean water directly to the homes of the people in the community. In other words, it’s a piped-on-premises approach rather than a community well approach.
Why?…
Because piping water to each home where we serve means people in Nicaragua don’t have to harvest water every day, giving them more time to love and provide for their families. (We’ll tell you more about this later! 😁)
