We recently hosted a group from Vintage Church in Nicaragua, and they participated in a very special celebration—Día de los Niños, or Kids’ Day! This tradition is a big deal in Nicaragua, bringing families and communities together to celebrate and honor the importance and value of children.

It’s no surprise that we wholeheartedly embrace Kids’ Day, since the SuNica staff and leaders work hard each day to help children see their value. This holiday presents the perfect opportunity to show students how loved and cherished they are.

This year, we had face painting, balloon animals, a piñata, and more! Our friends from Vintage Church helped make balloon animals and paint faces, and we ended our time by praying for the children in the community.
